Try and set aside a few minutes a day in a quiet place and practice meditation. This ancient art of relaxation has been practiced for centuries and fans swear by it.

Either playing or listening to music can have a profound effect on our mind and our senses. These are both proven ways of relieving stress and will either stop you worrying altogether or at least help you get it into perspective.

Now you’ve read through all these strategies, you may be chomping at the bit to get in there and try them. A word of warning, with the exception of the tea, only choose one and stick to it. You need to spend a lot of time doing these techniques, and if you try and do two or three you’ll be stressing out by trying to keep them all going, so only one at a time.
