I’ve seen a lot of descriptions on how to do a simple Karate lunge punch, and, I hate to say it, but they are all in error. Thus, they fall into the same old, same old trap of muscle building bushwah. This is quite silly because the first movement you learn in the martial arts is usually a good, old karate punch, it is one of the first counts of karate kata heian-one.

I know, kickboxing karate isn’t real, but it is a translation of arts. When you go from karate to kickboxing, or from kickboxing back to karate, you can win every single contest you are in by knowing the three things I am going to tell you here. We are dealing only with the fists, mind you, so you have to control the distance to make sure that you stay at punching range.

I keep forgetting, when I talk about Martial Arts Chi Power and such things, that I am over here, and everybody else is over there. I just wrote an article having to do with the liberation of energy through circular flux, and my emails and requests for the free matrixing ebook went viral. This is one of those things…’You mean everybody doesn’t know that?”

Yes, you can knock an elephant over with Martial Arts kicks. Doesn’t matter if they are Karate kicks, Kung Fu kicks, or whatever, with the proper knowledge and some serious practice, elephants will walk softly around you! And, if you can knock over a pachyderm or two with a foot, that mugger isn’t going to be a problem at all.

Perhaps you have heard the old saying…’If you don’t know Sanchin, you don’t know Karate.’ It happens that this statement is absolutely true. It is true because when done correctly Sanchin kata results in a liberation of fighting energy beyond any form known.

To resurrect Karate as True Art, and this would include Shotokan, Goju, Uechi, or various other types of the art, one should always look to the techniques. The techniques are the kata made real, they are concepts made to work. They are the heart of the beast that is The True Art.

When I was a child I wanted to learn secret martial arts. I wanted to know those mysterious fighting moves that would enable somebody smaller to smash somebody taller. I wanted to know that hapkido or jujitsu or whatever that would enable me to really trash the bad guys.

We all want to have the hardest punch it is possible to have. We want to know that, in the event of muggery, thuggery or downright nasty behaviour, we can get the job done. What we don’t want is to be on the receiving end of a world class face smacker.

I can put out a candle with a martial arts technique at about two feet now. This article is about the techniques I use. I’m hoping other people out there will want to share their methods, and we can all experience improvement at this little trick.
