There are 3 types of exercises – cardio, strength, and flexibility. Usually its the flexibility portion that gets put to the way side. It makes sense…cardiovascular training, and strength training help us lose weight, look more fit, and be more athletic, what are the immediate benefits of stretching?

Golf has become a big part of life for many Bellevue residents, as has their chiropractic care to keep in golf shape. The same is true for many professional golfers in todays game. Professional golfer Lori West attributes the reason she’s playing today to chiropractic. Almost 20 years ago, she visited a chiropractor for her shoulders and neck. West commented that the care improved her golf game infinitely.

Every day we are alive gravity is constantly pulling on our body. This pulling is a stressor to the human body. As we get older the joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons in our bodies tend to weaken and become much more vulnerable to this stress.

When you have seen as many patients as I have in my years as a Bellevue chiropractor you begin to see patterns in the way that certain peoples body’s present. Did you know that women who wear high heels will most likely have back pain at some point in their lives? A big one that I see are people with computer jobs. Sitting at a computer all day in a poor posture with create dysfunction in the neck. Here in Bellevue WA I see many people with computer jobs, that all have the same kind of neck. I call these necks “Bellevue Necks”.
