One of the first few steps to take in constructing your very own sauna room is establishing just what variety of sauna room you’re considering constructing. There happens to be an abundance of styles of saunas that vary in individual level of overall perceived popularity based on locale. One of the single most abundant type of sauna that the average sauna user is likely to run across is the Finnish sauna with a large heater and hot rocks. These are located in health clubs around the U.S., and came from Finland. These types of sauna are not very commonly found in residences, however.

Several men and women have posed the question to me of whether it is ideal to perform some form of warm-up before hopping into a sauna. I personally find that the is for the most part a highly therapeutic experience without regard of whether any kind of physical activity is engaged in beforehand. Despite this, however, I’ve discovered that any form of physical activity done before the sauna session often substantially increases the post-sauna endorphin release.
