The volleyball court may not be as simple as it looks. There are plenty of volleyball rules that go along with setting one of these things up. There is also plenty you need to know about where different actions are allowed to take place on the floor. The interesting part about the volleyball floor is that there are very few lines on it. The court is not huge. It also is not tiny. You will hear people ask questions about the floor and a lot of the time the questions pertain to the ten foot line, which is also called the attack line. I explain more about the 10 foot line here. I looked at rule book and I thought I would outline the rules a little bit. I added the rule number so you can go to the book and read the official rules.
